Matchbox Twenty ready to light up the Agua Caliente Casino
01-06-09 For the first time in four years, Matchbox Twenty is hitting the road again, and they will be stopping by Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage! They will begin their tour on January 25, 2008 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, and will continue through Florida, up the east coast to the midwest and California, ending March 18 at the Pearl Theater in Las Vegas. Touring with them will be Alanis Morissette, promoting her new album Flavors of Entanglement, and Mute Math. This tour will be the first for Matchbox Twenty since guitarist Adam Gaynor left the band in 2005. The band also took a break during the 3 years Rob Thomas was promoting his first solo album, Something To Be. Matchbox Twenty’S current tour will be in support of their new album, Exile on Mainstream, which is a collection of hits featuring 6 new tracks including the recent hit “How Far We’ve Come.”
If you’ve been missing some Matchbox Twenty classics, and you’re longing for some new favorites, you can’t miss this long awaited tour. Their album quickly made it to #3 on the Billboard Chart after it was released. You can’t beat the lineup either! Morissette will be debuting a slew of songs from her highly anticipated new album, and the talented electro-rock musicians of Mute Math are sure to impress.
